Sea Potato by Tina Gill

Features

ARTIST NOTES: This is my very first pastel painting. I’m very proud of it and I would like to hang it on my own walls lol. I love doing digital art so this was a special and unique challenge and not an easy one for me to overcome. I live with chronic pain and find it more difficult to work with a solid medium and paint or pastels which require more movement /balance and flow. It took me a Long time to find a particular medium I liked. I literally tried everything and came to the conclusion that I absolutely love working with pastels, and feel like a kid again when I create. I cannot wait to have many more like this one, but she is my first beautiful sleeping lion seal, with her flippers and tail all tucked in behind her neatly, gently floating amongst the sea grass . I wonder what she is dreaming about? I think she looks like a cute sea potato. I hope wherever she ends up she is loved 🥰.
