I have always been fascinated by Art. Standing in a Gallery surrounded by incredible pieces of Art work somehow makes me feel like I am home. I have found something I am passionate about, something that helps me find peace and joy. When I am painting I feel like I am being my authentic self. Painting started as a hobby and it quickly became something I couldn't live without. I find it to be such a compliment when others consider me to be a creative person. I have had the joy of being a finalist in the Mornington Landscape Prize at Southern Buoy Studios and I have recently started conducting my own Art Classes.
It is very satisfying blending colors on a canvas with no intentional goal but to just enjoy the process. You get to bring to life a rare piece of Art that you can call your own. You create, not for recognition but simply because it makes you happy. My biggest inspiration is the ocean, not only because I love being by the beach but because of how much the ocean exemplifies who we are as individuals, both fragile yet powerful human beings.
